Vumba Coffee: A Must try for Coffee Tourists

Vumba, known for its wonderful mountains, valleys, and greenery, is also home to many Coffee Estates in Zimbabwe, growing some of the best Arabica blends in Africa.

Of note is the Vumba Coffee, as they say, is one of the finest Arabica from the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, grown by Kokora Investments (Pvt) Ltd.

The Vumba Coffee brand has been a major part of my mornings for a year now, waking up to a filtered Vumba brew in the centre of Harare, watching the sun rise whilst writing a piece for our publications.

A natural dark roast, the Vumba Coffee brews well with any standard coffee machine, bringing out the eastern highland flavour packed in the ground coffee.

I prefer getting the ground coffee instead of the beans, as some coffee tourists are not patient enough to ground the beans. Either are suitable, the ground or the beans; depending on your machine.

On a normal working day, the writer’s morning, 430am to 630am, I usually do two to three cups of Vumba Coffee, which helps create the writing flavours needed to pencil well researched and creative business pieces. Vumba Coffee is a must try!

I have tried the Vumba Coffee with fresh cream several times, creating an enhanced flavour that goes down well with basic toasted bread; a good start to a day.

Those that have a busy working week that starts without approval and never ends, understand the need for a good brewed filter coffee, not instant, but freshly brewed, a place where I have found Vumba Coffee occupies in each cup I enjoy.

Coffee tourism is fast growing in Zimbabwe as it is in a few Southern Africa countries like Malawi and South Africa that actually have coffee estates that offer lodging to coffee lovers to spend time in coffee, books, and beautiful scenery.

Vumba Coffee is a must try for Coffee lovers and tourists coming to Zimbabwe.
